A THREE-DAY exhibit aimed to showcase new technologies that will reduce and mitigate air pollution through various inventions will be held on November 15 to 17 in Davao City.
The exhibit is spearheaded by the Davao City Airshed Governing Board (DCAGB) in line with the National Clean Air Month, with a theme, "Effective airshed governing board: A response to air pollution."
It will be held at the legislative building of Davao City.
DCAGB focal person Melvin Dapitanon said there are six exhibitors who will showcase various inventions and technologies. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is expected to grace the event.
Expected exhibitors are Davao Inventors Association, Rad Green Solutions, Therma South, Bio-Reactor Technology for Composting, Straight Arrow Technology Incorporation, and Holcim Philippines Incorporation.
Davao Inventors Association president Virgilio Sangutan said their inventions and innovations can be a response and a solution to air pollution.
Six government agencies in Region 11 will also showcase their respective products including the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology, Environmental Management Bureau, Department of Energy, and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.
