3 drug suspects caught in Consolacion, Cebu

THREE suspected drug personalities were caught at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, in drug bust in a subdivision in Barangay Casili, Consolacion, Cebu.

Chief Inspector Gerard Ace Pelare, the town police commander, identified the suspects as Nathaniel Boyboy Jaime, 23; Editho Caspe Mutia, 41; and Raffy Barientos Sumanting, 19.

The suspects yielded 10 packs of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.

Drug paraphernalia and two marked bills of P100 were also seized by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit, which is supervised by Pelare.

Complaints for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Selling shabu is a non-bailable offense. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
