THREE persons on a motorcycle were injured after they hit a sports utility vehicle on their way to Bacolod-Silay airport at Bagtic Road in Silay City, Negros Occidental Saturday night, October 14.

Wounded were Kim Victor Caro Jr., 21, of Barangay Guimbalaon; Niel Gamboa, 22, of Barangay Bagtic; and Renante Ortega, 38, of Barangay Mambulac, all in Silay City.

Superintendent Noel Polines, city police chief, said the motorcycle driven by Caro slammed into the vehicle of Dioscoro Marañon Jr., 47, of Bago City, who was also traveling in the same direction.

Polines said Marañon parked his vehicle at the roadside to answer a phone call when the motorcycle riders hit the rear.

All three victims were rushed to a hospital while Marañon was unharmed.

Polines said Caro has no driver's license and all three have no helmets.
