THREE men were hurt after a lightning hit them in Sitio Takan, Barangay Agus in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, September 16. Two of the victims are in critical condition.
The Lapu-Lapu City Public Information Office (PIO) identified the victims as Eutiquio Prankelos, Michael Perolino, and Tata Layson.
The victims are shellfish gleaners.
Prankelos and Perolino reportedly got inside a cottage when it rained at that time. Moments later, a bolt of lightning struck the said shelter.
The City PIO said Prankelos and Perolino, who were critically injured, were immediately brought to a hospital . (FMG/SunStar Cebu)
