MANILA -- Three oil companies in the Philippines implemented an increase in their diesel and gasoline prices on Tuesday.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PTT Philippines and Petron Corp. have increased diesel prices by P1.10 per liter and gasoline prices by 50 centavos per liter.
Petron also increased its kerosene prices by P1.25 per liter.
Phoenix and Petron said the hike was brought by the continued upward movement of refined petroleum products in the global market.
PTT Philippines started the hike of its products at 12:01 a.m., while Petron and Phoenix implemented the price changes at 6 a.m. (PNA)
