THIRTY policemen and three non-uniformed personnel of the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station in Negros Occidental were tested negative for illegal drugs.
The results came out last March 20, a week after they submitted their urine samples for the test.
On March 13, Negros Occidental Provincial Crime Laboratory led by Superintendent Helen Pasoy conducted the test at the police station.
It was part of the intensified internal cleansing of policemen in Western Visayas.
Senior Inspector Ryan Salazar, town police chief, said he is happy with the results of the test. (GYM/SunStar Bacolod)
