A TOTAL of 30 police officers and three non-uniformed personnel of Pontevedra Municipal Police Station in Negros Occidental underwent a surprise drug test on Tuesday.
Senior Inspector Ryan Salazar, town police chief, said they submitted urine samples for the test held at the police station around 2 p.m.
The test was conducted by the Negros Occidental Provincial Crime Laboratory led by Superintendent Helen Pasoy. It was the first station-initiated test under Salazar's stint.
Salazar said the results of the test are expected to come out next week.
The drug test is part of the intensified internal cleansing of policemen in Western Visayas. (GYM)
