THIRTY ladies have been chosen to vie for the Mutya ng Dabaw crown.
Davao City Tourisms Office Operations Office head Generose Tecson told SunStar Davao that all 30 candidates will be presented onstage during the finals night on March 15, 2017.
Tecson in an earlier interview said that the screening was held last February 18 at the Waterfront Hotel.
“Just as the other years, it is the same, we did not change it,” she said of the criteria for the selection.
Tecson added that that they ensure that the candidate has stayed in Davao for a couple of years.
She also said that aside from Mutya, there are also a lot events to be excited about including the Parada Dabawenyo or Civic Parade where they will feature 8 floats that will depict the history of Davao. (KVC)
