IN another Oplan Pokemon operation, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) arrested 53 personalities and rescued five minors from the different barangays yesterday.
Senior Supt. Julian Entoma, Acting CCPO director, said that they will focus on supply reduction of illegal drugs.
Shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P84, 488 was confiscated from the suspected drug personalities.
In a separate development, Supt. Artemio Ricabo, spokesperson of the CCPO said that the police can improvise body cameras used in anti-drugs operations.
“If there are really no body cameras available, the operative can opt to use a smartphone and insert it in the chest pocket of his bulletproof vest,” Ricabo said.
Among the police offices in Central Visayas, only the CCPO has body cameras donated by software company, SugboTek. (JOB)
