A SENIOR citizen widower was hacked to death by his son in Sitio Nahulgo, Barangay Luca, Balaman, Cebu, around 12 a.m., Wednesday, August 23.
Police identified the 62-year-old fatality as Temoteo Bacaro Narvasa, who succumbed to hack wounds in different parts of his body son Luisito Bihag Narvasa.
The younger Narvasa was arrested. A one-foot-long bolo was recovered from the crime scene.
Luisito was confronting his father after learning that he, the older Narvasa, allegedly raped the suspect's 13-year-old daughter.
Luisito later pulled out the bolo from its scabbard and attacked the victim.
A parricide complaint is set to be filed against the suspect. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
