67 teams in DFL 2nd Conference in Negros Occidental

THE Dynamic Football League 2nd Conference will kick off on Saturday, July 29, at the Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The event will feature U7 mix, U10 mix, U13 boys, U16 boys and U17 girls.

Eight teams will compete for the U7 mix that includes St. Scholastica’s Academy, Himamaylan, Pontevedra A, B and C, Montevista Elementary School, Villa Angela and Don Bosco Technical Institute.

Meanwhile, U10 mix will have two groups: Bracket A – University of St. La Salle-Integrated School B, Pontevedra A and C, Don Bosco-B, San Enrique, Rizal Elementary School (ES), Montevista ES and Sikatz Sum-ag Football Club(FC); and Bracket B – Himamaylan City FC, Kickers FC, USLS-IS A, Trinity Christian School, Bata FC, Don Bosco-A, St. Scholastica’s Academy, Bago FC and Pontevedra-B.

For the U13 boys are Bago FC, Don Bosco, Trinity, Pontevedra A and B, USLS-IS, Kickers FC, Bata FC, San Enrique, and Sikatz Sum-ag FC while for the U16 boys are STI West Negros University, USLS-IS A and B, Don Bosco, City of Kabankalan FC/Southland, Bago FC, Kickers FC, Maranatha FC and Trinity.

For the U17 girls are Living Stone, Cadiz A and B, St. Scholastica’s A and B, La Carlota, Ramon Torres National High School, Kickers FC, St. John’s Institute, Don Bosco, Pontevedra A and B and USLS-IS.

Negros Occidental Football Association president Ricky Yanson said the absence of grassroots program will force scarcity of material for the future national team.

This tournament will elevate not only the level of football in the country, but also the lives of young aspiring players, he added.
