A TOTAL of 764 police officials and officers in the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 took their oaths after being promoted.
PRO 7 Director Jose Espino said the newly-promoted police officers must continue doing their jobs well.
u201cLet us strengthen our commitment of selfless service to the public with firm and utmost effort, efficiency, competence and responsibility,” Espino said during his speech.
Senior Supt. Clarito Baja, chief of the Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Division, said that out of the 867 personnel who applied for the promotion program, 764 qualified.
u201cSome had problems during the background investigation, but we achieved the timeframe of Camp Crame for the interview, background investigation, neuropsychiatric exam, medical and physical examinations,” Baja said.
Twenty-three were police commissioned officers, while 741 were non-commissioned officers.
The PCOs were composed of chief inspectors and senior inspectors, while the PNCOs range from police officer 2 to senior police officer 4. (JOB)
