A well organized trip

SUMMER is still far from over.

With all the trips and travels that we will be making within the remaining weeks of summer, there are just so many things that needed to be organized. We do not want to be losing and leaving something important back home and only realize it when we’re already in the airport or already hitting the road.

This is a common problem among all the travelers regardless of age and organizational skills. You wish you know how to pack light or have all the things you needed to bring stacked neatly in your bags.

Get Organized is a 3-year-old homegrown shop that specializes on different travel accessories. Aside from being present in occasional exhibits and bazaars, Get Organized products are regularly available in NCCC Department Store and all Chimes Boutique branches in the city.

They have toiletry kits, bags for excess baggage, 3-piece luggage organizers, luggage covers, passport and document wallets, passport case, and shoe travel pouches among others.

The prices for these products start at an affordable price of P200 to P300 and they also offer discounts when they are in bazaars and exhibits.

“The longer the business stays, the more it gets better especially during December because people are fond of buying our products as gifts. During summer season, our sales performance would depend on the location. Usually, it’s more sellable in bazaars like here in SM Lanang and Abreeza,” said Get Organized Sales Staff Michelle Banuelos in the vernacular.

Aside from travel accessories, they also offer wardrobe organizers that can as well be used at home such as bag hangers and jewelry organizers.

Banuelos said she noticed that most of their buyers are those who travel a lot, perhaps for official businesses. Their usual buyers are those that fall under the 30 to 40 years old age groups or the parents of the millennials.

She also said that these parents are usually the ones buying travel accessories for their kids.

What the millennials find very appealing from Get Organized are their planners and desk calendars that come in cute and colorful designs. There are available weekly, monthly, 100-day project planners and schedule note planners depending on the need of the buyer.

“Usually, millenials are more into what are trending in social media. Our planners are included in that, that is why it is more sellable to younger generation,” said Banuelos.
