ANG Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Eastern Mindanao Command (Easmincom) mipataas sa ilang seguridad ngadto sa heightened alert status tungod sa posibilidad nga ang armadong grupo mohimo og diversionary tactics sa ilang area of responsibility (AOR) luyo sa hulga sa terorista sa Palawan.
Si Major Ezra Balagtey, Easmincom public information officer (PIO), nagsulti nga sila mopatuman sa mga paagi ug joint preparations aron mapugnan ang pagpangatake nga himuon sa terorista.
Kini human sa travel warning nga gipaguwa sa United States (US) ug United Kingdom (UK) ngadto sa ilang katawhan, nagsulti nga irekonsidera ang popular nga destinasyon sa Palawan ug lugar nga duol sa Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) National Park human nadawat ang impormasyon nga mangdagit ang mga terorista.
"While the travel advisory was specific for Palawan, the Command had to raise the alert level in the area because of the possibility of terrorist groups shifting or diverting operations to Eastern Mindanao," suma ni Balagtey sa pahayag.
