Angel Locsin misunderstands fan on Twitter

AN Angel Locsin fan who uses the Twitter handle @KapamilyaKUDA made her sentiments known that she is not happy her idol was only playing a supporting role in the upcoming soap opera La Luna Sangre.

"This is making me cry... Angel should be Malia. If not, then I hope she stays with #LaLunaSangre from pilot to finale,” read one of @KapamilyaKUDA's many tweets in Tagalog.

Instead, Malia will be played by Kathryn Bernardo, who top-bills La Luna Sangre with Daniel Padilla, collectively known as KathNiel. Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz play supporting roles. The soap is a continuation of Lobo (2008) starring Locsin and Piolo Pascual and Imortal (2010) with Locsin and Cruz.

But one of the many reactions against @KapamilyaKUDA's Twitter rants reached Locsin. But the 32-year-old actress misunderstood the tweet as it seemed like KathNiel fans were bashing her, when in fact, the KathNiel fans were only defending Bernardo and Padilla.

In Tagalog, Locsin replied to one of the tweets: “You know, I don't have to do Luna but here I am supporting them (KathNiel). So learn to respect and be grateful.”

@KapamilyaKUDA was quick to clarify to her idol that KathNiel fans were not bashing her.

“Ah ok! Sorry,” Locsin apologized, along with tweeting a peace sign.

But while that has been settled, KathNiel fans were still on @KapamilyaKUDA's case for bashing their idols.
