Another suspect dead in Davao drug bust

ANOTHER drug suspect was killed in a drug bust operation Saturday afternoon.

The slain suspect was identified by the police as Pedro Madanlo Suico Jr. male, 37, jobless and a resident of Purok 10, New Town Village, Bago Gallera, Davao City.

The drug bust was conducted at around 5:30 p.m. by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under the supervision of Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Director Police Senior Superintendent Michael John Dubria.

The Scene of the Crime team recovered from the body a marked P500 bill used in the deal, a green plastic lighter, one Samsung cellular phone, four pieces of empty cartridge of 9mm, and one caliber .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with four live ammunition.

The agent was able to buy a small plastic sachet of crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."

The body of the suspect was brought to the Angel Funeral Parlor in Toril, Davao City.
