The gaming crowd and musing spectators were especially hyped up during the Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Card Game, Super Smash Bros. and the Tekken Tag Tournament Finals where the participants smashed each other to bits with their high-level gaming knacks.

The two-day convention ended with the awarding of all winners and a closing ceremony.

ARCHCon was one of the first hobby conventions held in Cebu. It aims to be an open venue where people can gather and have fun.

ARCHCon started way back July 24, 2004 and it is now on its 12th year. It is organized by A.M.T.G. Brigade, a club catering to hobbies.

The proceeds of the event will be given to the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Blue Plate Mission. (Reyna Cadiz, UP Cebu Mass Communication student)
