Bacolod golfers rule 69th PAL Interclub’s Friendship Division

TEAM Bacolod Golf fired 67, 67, 69, and 80 for a total of 283 to rule the Friendship Division of the recently-concluded 69th PAL Interclub Golf Tournament played at the Mimosa Golf Club in Clark, Pampanga.

Proving that the Negrenses are still top in their division are Raymund Baldeviso, Olimpio de la Rama, Rayrando Diaz, Angelito “Jake” Dumapi, Paul Genito, Gerard Golez, Kushima Katsumi, Emelito Masigon, Mike Ortiz, and Arnold Sison.

Finishing second in the division is Mabuhay Golf Club of SFO 274 (66-61-77-70) followed by Northgate Golf 261 (64-47-77-73), Filipino Golfers in the Middle East Dubai 258 (61-74-65-58), Filipino Golfers in the ME- UAE 220 (54-45-68-53), MSU 219 (65-66-42-46), Baguio Country Club 215 (56- 54-52-53), MT Malindang 206 (56-45-61-44), Filipino Golfers in the Middle East Abu Dhabi 196 (48-61-33-54), Moffet Field 152 (36-45-39-32), and FGA- Kuwait 148 (38-38-39-33).

Valley Golf and Country Club notched 446 (108-122-102-114) to top the Aviator Division as Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club followed with six points short at 440 (121-106-103-110).

Manila Southwoods finally scored its first-ever repeat as PAL Interclub Men’s champion.

National pool member Justin Quiban tamed the Mountain View layout of the Mimosa, carding a week-best five-under-par 67 for 41 points to spearhead Southwoods to a closing 141 of the total 552 and a 10-point victory over Canlubang which completed with 542.

Completing the Men’s Champion’s Division are the Luisita 531 (120-135-139-137), The Orchard Golf 520 (125- 124- 132-139), Del Monte 504 (124-126-126-128), Mimosa 462 (118-114-123-107), Camp Evangelista 305 (76-98-59-72), and SF Crystal Spring 285 (68-77-70-70). (HGD)
