BAGUIO City has won the national Kabalikat award in the Local Government Unit (LGU)-City Level.
The award was conferred during the 21st anniversary of the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority held in Taguig City on August 25.
The Kabalikat gives recognition to Tesda partners that have excelled in promoting and enhancing the technical-vocation industry.
Baguio was nominated by the Tesda Baguio-Benguet after it bagged the regional Kabalikat award in the same category.
Other recipients of the awards were Tarlac in the LGU-Provincial level; Bohol in the Legislative Category; Agusan del Sur College in the Institution Category; and the Texas Instruments Inc. in the Industry Category.
