Barracks: Adrenaline hub in Cebu

INTRODUCING the first archery tag arena in the Philippines: The Barracks. It is Cebu’s newest adrenaline hub.

The Barracks is a joint venture among four young entrepreneurs: Liezl Jao, Jeremiah Tan, Jerick Cordero and Myles Chu. The Barracks, which had its grand opening last June 17, is proud to offer a new kind of alternative recreation in the Queen City.

“We are from a generation where everything changes and evolves in a rapid pace. I guess that’s how we ended up looking for a new kind of fun activity to do. We wanted something that could encourage team building while learning a new skill, something people can actually bond over no matter what age they are,” said Jao.

Similar to dodge ball, archery tag is a team game with players as few as eight to as many as 30. The main objective of the game is to hit the opposing team’s members and their targets with painless foam-tipped arrows.

Aside from archery tag, The Barracks also offers Laser Tag Kingdom, which is the classic laser tag made more exciting in a dimmed arena—the biggest laser tag arena in Cebu; and Laser Maze, a course one must pass through without tripping any of the lasers.

The Barracks also caters to those who want to make use of the facilities for educational purposes such as physical education and fitness.
