A SEMINAR on Drug Enforcement Operation was held at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) headquarters Friday.
All station commanders of 10 police stations in the city, as well as personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and investigators of Drug Enforcement Team (DET) participated in the seminar, a press release from BCPO said.
The resource speaker was Bacolod Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Raymond Joseph Javier.
He discussed the principles of command responsibility, drug operation procedures, case build-up, chain of custody, and implementation of search warrant.
The seminar aimed to strengthen and provide additional knowledge to policemen in the conduct of investigation, filing of charges and handling of evidence.
It also aimed to raise awareness on drug issues. (GYM)
