BEA Alonzo, Paulo Avelino and Derek Ramsay will headline Star Cinema's upcoming big screen project entitled "Kasal".
The three actors were present during the story conference held on Monday, October 23, with movie director Ruel Bayani and Star Cinema head Malou Santos.
Bayani said they've waited a whole year for the movie to materialize as the lead stars are also busy with their respective schedules.
He added that the moviegoers have all the reason to be excited about the movie.
"Napaka-complicated ng movie. It’s going to be a story about three adult complex characters. One who wants to stop it, one wants to proceed, and one woman who has to choose which wedding to go to and what decision to make," Bayani said.
This is not the first time Alonzo will be working with Avelino and Ramsay.
The Kapamilya actress did "And I Love You So" in 2009 and teleserye "Magkaribal" with Ramsay in 2010.
As for Avelino, he worked with Alonzo in 2014 series "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon" with Maricar Reyes and Albert Martinez.
Star Cinema is yet to announce the release of the movie. (SunStar Philippines)
