Biñas satisfied with NegOr cops performance in anti-drugs drive

SENIOR Superintendent Henry Biñas, acting provincial director of Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo) said on Wednesday that he is satisfied with the performance of the station commanders in their anti-illegal drugs campaign.

Biñas said the policemen have met the target in terms of the implementation of Oplan Tokhang and Oplan Double Barrel.

As of October 6, Norppo has almost 12,000 drug surrenderers.

“So far, I am satisfied with them generally but there are still police chiefs who need to improve more,” Biñas said.

Despite the low performance of other police chiefs, Biñas said he has yet to decide when to implement a reshuffling.

“We are still conducting continuous evaluation to assess the level of their performance,” Biñas added.

Biñas, who assumed as Norppo director only earlier this month, said he will continue to intensify the anti-illegal drug campaign in the province upon the orders of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.
