BLUGRE, a homegrown chain of coffee shops, is set to receive another excellence award this year, after it was chosen as the Most Outstanding Innovative Coffee Shop in the 2015 National Customers Choice Annual Awards.
"We are very excited and happy having been selected by the as an outstanding coffee shop for 2015. This is truly a testimony to our commitment to provide quality service to our beloved customers," said Gloria Cuaresma, Blugre owner.
Last April 25, the shop bagged the Best Coffee Shop award during the 10th National Product Quality Excellence Award by the Q Asia Magazine.
Cuaresma told Sun.Star Davao that they are planning to expand and open a branch in Manila this year.
"We are planning to expand in Manila. That's our target for this year. Currently, we are still looking for location. We are actually conducting surveys already to make sure that it will be established in a strategic location," she said.
Blugre is known as the first to introduce durian coffee, in hot and cold blends.
"When we say durian coffee, it's Blugre. We believe in the law of the first. But we do not settle just for that, we go beyond durian coffee. We also offer fruit drinks, delicious pastries, rice meals, and exceptional customer service," she said.
Blugre Coffee now has over nine branches, six in Davao and one branch each in the cities of General Santos, Koronadal and Tagum. (ASP)
