LINGAYEN, Pangasinan -- A bomb scare at the Libsong Elementary School here early Tuesday, October 11, prompted alarmed parents to rush to the school and pick up their children.
Police immediately arrived at the school and searched the entire area but found no bomb.
The police learned that one parent received a text message on her cellular phone, telling her to immediately bring her daughter home as there was a bomb in the school premises.
The message quickly spread around, causing parents and students to panic.
A report said the pupils did not return for their afternoon class but will go back to school Wednesday morning, October 12.
Police are looking for the prankster responsible for the bomb scare. (PNA)
