A FOUR-year-old boy drowned in a creek at Purok La Bamba, Sitio Bunga in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Saturday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as Fritz Allyn Eloro.
Police records showed the victim was playing near a creek with other children around 1 p.m. when his slippers were carried by the heavy current due to heavy rains.
He fell when he tried to reach for his slippers.
After an hour, the body of the victim was retrieved at the river of Sitio Malasbalas in Barangay Orong. (GYM)
