TELEVISION host Boy Abunda is confident that Queen of All Media Kris Aquino will be just fine after her decision to start anew with APT Entertainment.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), Abunda said that Aquino is okay and she has a clear career plan.
"I haven't spoken to her a couple of days but we are in touch. She's Kris. She's okay. May mga bagay kasi na klarong gustong gawin ni Kris. Parati kong sinasabi she knows what she wants," he said.
Abunda added that before deciding to sign up with Tony Tuviera's APT Entertainment, the female host had already weighed all her options.
"She's not making any easy decision, di yung boom. Si Kris, napaka-cerebral ng proseso. Nag-iisip kung ano ang susunod na gagawin. She knows what she wants."
"She's maybe very careful, very cautious, but she'll be okay."
Meanwhile, Abunda kept his distance when pressed for details on Aquino's tie up with APT Entertainment.
The host said he's not in the best position to speak on the matter and he prefers that everyone wait for either Aquino or Tuviera.
"Hindi ako nagsasalita dahil hindi pa nga nagsasalita si Kris, hindi pa nagsasalita si Tony. Hindi nagsasalita yung ibang taong relevant to this particulatr issue, bakit ako mangunguna?"
In September, Aquino confirmed that she will no longer be part of the Kapamilya Network.
The TV host disclosed that she did meet with ABS-CBN executives but the network neither has a definite show nor an assured timeframe for her return.
"I perfectly understood -- as much as I wanted to believe I was a pillar of the network, everybody is dispensable. And I say that with no bitterness - just HONESTY."
Aquino then clarified that Abunda will still handle all her endorsement deals while APT will manage her television comeback. (Sunnex)
