CONCENTRIX targets to hire at least 300 more employees before the year ends.
Currently, Concentrix has a total of about 1,000 employees both for customer service and technical support industries. Because of expansions and new account acquisitions, they are looking into hiring more new employees within the year.
“Our focus right now is our two major industries – one is customer service which is more on online retail and another is technical support. And we also do social media and web content here in Davao, although it’s a lesser head count requirement compared to our online shopping and technical support departments,” Concentrix talent sourcing senior specialist Edin Earl De Vera said.
Customer service team leader Carlo Palapar, for his part, said the customer service industry in Concentrix is growing particularly in terms of human resource. What started out three teams of only 150 people grew more. “There are different lines of businesses (LOB) that we’ve acquired already. We started out with only one LOB, currently we have four that includes the retail side. It’s actually growing and the clients’ trust is really there,” Palapar said.
De Vera added, that aside from the expansion of their clientele, they also believe that the way they treat their employees is one of their edges ages compared to other leading business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in Davao City.
He also said that Concentrix has a longer tenure and is big on employee-employer engagement which every employee looks forward to.
“I think what’s keeping up Concentrix is the words of mouth from the people who came here and how training is done in Concentrix. It’s really way different,” Palapar said.
“They (employees) call this second home. Nowadays, people say it’s about how compensated one is but it’s actually rather how they feel when they’re here because there are also a lot of growing companies like Concentrix. The image and the market that Concentrix has is different from others,” Palapar added.
