A BUSINESSMAN was arrested for allegedly brandishing his unlicensed firearm on social media, Tuesday morning, May 16, in Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City.
Police identified the suspect as Mark Anthony Boyo, who rents out tourist buses.
Boyo allegedly brandished his unlicensed firearm on Facebook and in the neighborhood.
Seized from the suspect was a .45 pistol with magazine loaded with two bullets.
He is reportedly a member of Task Force Alpha, a volunteer traffic group in Cebu City. Boyo denied to the police he is part of the group.
The operation was authorized by a search warrant issued by Cebu City Regional Trial Court Branch 18 Judge Gilbert Moises. (SunStar Cebu)
