Video shots were taken of the scene but there was no audio. People speculated about what “Mommie D.” said to Manny’s beaten rival.

According to Manny in a post-fight interview, his mother said, “Sorry.”
It is doubtful though if her ringside “hex” on her son’s opponent had affected Bradley’s performance. How much of Manny’s win could be credited to the “mumbo-jumbo” directed at Bradley?

Had a right punch delivered by Bradley in the fourth round carried the same load and impact that Juan Manuel Marquez’s punch did on Pacquiao in 2013, the Pinoy boxer would’ve been a goner.
