A STRONG 32-point first half from Cleveland's Kevin Love help extend their winning streak to 9 as they defeated Miami Heat, Wednesday morning (Philippine time), November 29.

Love started this game locked and loaded as he was making his shots from the field making 3 three-point shots by the end of the first quarter scoring already 22 points. The Cavaliers scored 35 points in the first quarter with Miami behind by 11 points.

The second quarter started with a couple of three pointers made by Cleveland's bench players, Kyle Korver and Dwayne Wade. The Heat tried to trim the lead to single digits but was pounded by the Cavalier defense which led Miami to shoot just only 40 percent by the end of the second quarter.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers had a furious 40 point second quarter shooting 60.1 percent from the field led by Love who already had 32 points in 17 minutes of play with the Cavs having a comfortable 26 point lead.

The second half was full of runs by the Miami Heat led by their starters, Dione Waiters, Goran Dragic and Haasan Whiteside but they never quite got to trim the lead to 20 points despite Lebron James getting his first ever career game ejection against his former team, who he had two NBA titles with, by the end of the third quarter.

The Cavaliers truly pulled away from the game when they had an impressive 13-8 run in the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Although the Cavaliers only scored a total of 15 points by the end of the fourth quarter, they still won by a margin of 11 points against the Miami Heat.

Waiters led the Miami Heat team with 21 points and 7 assists in the loss alongside Josh Richardson with 15 points.

Cavaliers had a 38 point performance from Kevin Love and 21 points and 12 rebounds from Lebron James. Wade also had 17 off the bench. (Frankl Glarino, USC AB Communications Intern/SunStar Philippines)
