WITH its aim to continuously spread joy, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf conducted a fun watercolor session as part of its campaign called "Giving Journal" last November 7 at its branch in SM Lanang Premier.
In the said three-hour activity, Davao-based lifestyle writers and bloggers, together with several customers, took the opportunity to learn how to execute proper lettering strokes using watercolor as the main medium.
Apart from this rare chance to be in one venue with fellow participants who are interested to learn this craft, which is now gaining popularity not just among kids but also among professionals, everyone was also treated to delectable signature CBTL goodies Dabawenyos have fallen in love with.
In the meantime, CBTL revealed that the company is committed of its "mission to spread joy in all forms, giving flavor, one cup at a time."
Based on a statement, CBTL is offering its customers two special holiday flavors this Christmas season.
"Each drink comes in two variations: an iced drink, and a warm latte," the statement read. "Fans with a sweet tooth will be happy to try the Toffee Nut flavor, which is a new addition to the menu."
According to the café, each drink is produced "lovingly" to capture the spirit of Christmas in a cup which is expected to be savored and enjoyed despite the hectic preparations for the holiday season.
Along with these fresh treats, the café also released its The Giving Journal's new edition.
"It is a journal designed to inspire each individual to pursue their passions and find meaning and fulfillment in everyday moments, while at the same time providing them opportunities to give back by helping others," CBTL stated.
It was learned that CBTL is not just a coffee and pastry shop; it has also been providing assistance to 38 university scholars since 2011. To date, 13 of them have already graduated.
Therefore, if you are having your favorite coffee or snacks at CBTL, you are actually extending some love and help to these scholars.
