AN UNATTENDED ceiling fan allegedly caused the afternoon fire in L. Flores Street, Barangay Pasil, Cebu City on Wednesday, December 28.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Melangel Yburan of the Cebu City Fire Department said the fire started at 3:09 p.m. and was declared under control four minutes later.
Yburan said the fire started when the unplugged ceiling fan overheated in the second floor of the house of Hermogenes Sepe.
Yburan added that several clothes inside the room were also burned in the incident. (FC/Sunnex)
