NOW, you don’t need to fly to New York to experience New York City’s Times Square. A local version of this famed commercial intersection is now in progress at Mandaue City.
City Time Square is a commercial building that is a fusion of a mall and an arcade, located along Mantawi Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The idea began two years ago by the owners when they got inspired by Times Square in Lower Manhattan, New York. With this new and different concept, they are looking forward to create a great shopping and dining experience to customers.
City Time Square will rise on a hectare of land. They have more than 80 units that will house different restaurants and bars for an ultimate dining and partying experience for customers. Parking space is also plenty. Plus, there’s free WiFi in every nook of the building.
They are planning in creating a one-of-a-kind landscape and architecture, with see-through units, alfresco and fountain areas, and large LED screens for advertisements.
Concerts and other activities, like Zumba, will also be held in their open area.
City Time Square is accessible, as it’s situated beside the golf course and just near the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC).
They are planning to have New Year celebrations and countdowns just like annual New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square.
“Expect quality and unique type of construction,” Ephraim Joern Omoso, marketing manager of City Time Square, said.
