Clark-Bagabag flight takes off

CLARK, Pampanga -- Wakay Air Services will launch Wednesday, May 17, its Clark-Bagabag inaugural flight, cutting a six to eight hour land trip into one hour and 45 minutes by air.

Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo, along with Clark International Airport Corporation President Alex Cauguiran will grace the event.

Wakay Air Services earlier announced the new route up north to the world-renowned Banaue Rice Terraces via Clark International Airport .

The inaugural flight along with a send-off ceremony for some 37 maiden passengers of the flight (with road trip to Banaue/Sagada) will be held at the domestic passenger terminal of Clark International Airport.

The Clark–Banaue (via Bagabag Airport, Nueva Vizcaya) flight officially starts its four-flight weekly schedule on board a 38-seater Dornier aircraft operated by Wakay Air Services.
