Convergys bounces back in DIBL volleyball tilt

THE Convergys men's team bounced back after losing to Offsourcing Philippines (OS) by surviving past Conectys, 25-16, 26-24 in the resumption of the Davao Inter-BPO League (DIBL) Volleyball Tournament held at the Davao Doctors College (DDC) Gym recently.

Convergys, thus, tasted its first victory at last in five outings of the event officiated by Balibolista de Dabaw.

"It was totally different cause we didn't mind winning, instead, we made sure that we're converging," Convergys team captain Michael Qiundala said, adding that they did not mind being eliminated as they were only after the experience.

Quindala hopes they could carry their momentum when they collide with Iqor next the same venue Sunday.

The Convergys volleybelles, however, absorbed an 8-25, 18-25 beating from the hands of Sutherland Global 25-8, 25-18 while Alorica women's team stayed unbeaten following a 25-19, 25-21 win over Sutherland Global.

In other games, VXI men spanked Iqor, 25-17, 25-17, to improve its record to 5-0 while Alorica demolished Sutherland, 25-12, 25-15.

Teleperformance, for its part, demolished Next BPO Solutions, 25-12, 25-16, as Sutherland recovered from its defeat to Alorica by routing Ibex Global, 25-12, 15-15.
