A POLICEMAN died after he was electrocuted while fixing electric wires in his residence at Sitio Luyahan in the village of Pasonanca, Zamboanga City.
The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) reported that the incident happened around 4:45 p.m., Saturday, September 24, at Luyahan, Pasonanca.
The victim was identified as Senior Police Officer 2 (SPO2) Edwin Nono, 43, who was assigned at ZCPO headquarters.
The police said that Nono was electrocuted when the live wire accidentally touched the corrugated galvanized iron sheet while fixing electric wires at the rooftop of his residence.
The police said the victim-policeman was rushed but failed to reach the hospital alive. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
