THE Davao City Social Services and Development Office will be inaugurating a New Child Minding Center building this first week of February.
CSSDO head Maria Luisa T. Bermudo said the current child minding center located at the CSSDO building will be transferred to a two-storey building located beside the Almendras Gym.
The child minding center of the city is very unique since it has nursing section for infants from two months old to two and a half years, and the toddler section for children above two and a half years to three years old.
At the nursing section, the staff are there to make sure the babies are comfortable. While at the toddlers' section, the children are also given lessons based on Early Childhood Care and Development modules administered by trained personnel.
The child minding center is for city government employees.
The child minding center has helped moms working at the city hall since the year 1998. (KVC/SunStar Davao)
