CyberCentre ‘85% occupied’

THE Capitol-owned Negros First CyberCentre in Bacolod City is 85 percent occupied and could pay for itself before the loan used to financed its construction is fully paid.

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said all occupants of commercial spaces are paying.

Since 2016, the operations of CyberCentre has been ran privately under the Negros First CyberCentre Joint Venture Inc. formed as a management partnership between the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and Negros Property Management and Development Corp. in March last year.

As of April this year, the Provincial Government has collected P3,682,550 in cash advance rentals and security deposits.

The monthly rental fee for commercial spaces ranges from P350 to P400/square meter. The facility has total available spaces of 120.
