Davao CDRRMC to intensify protocols, standards

THE Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) will intensify protocols and standards in the city.

CDRRMC and Central 911 officer-in-charge Emmanuel Jaldon said the Public Safety and Security Command Center will host an after action activity assessment.

Jaldon said this is to review which areas should they need to improve on.

He added the activity assessment will be attended by all agencies that are part of the response team.

"Generally, based on existing protocols and standards, okay ang performance natin but of course, in every incident meron talagang some elements that we need to improve on," Jaldon said.

He said the heavy rainfall and thunderstorm on Sunday, September 18, has affected their communication system, uprooted trees and debris, and flooded some areas in the city.

Though CDRRMC/Central 911, the agency was able to address the concerns brought about by the bad weather last Sunday, Jaldon said the office would still seek for more ways it can serve for the best interest of the people. (ICT)
