TALKS for the continuation of Kadayawan Village after the 32nd Kadayawan celebration are still ongoing.
Davao City Tourism Operation's Office (CTOO) officer-in-charge Generose Tecson said the tribes may probably rest for a while after they were involved in the festivities but they are now having talks for the continued display of each tribe's culture.
"Yung initial talks with Mayor Sara is parang i-allow na lang ang village to go on tapos mag-set up kami ng mechanics for the Kadayawan Village," she said.
Tecson said they are happy because the Kadayawan Village served its purpose of immersing visitors to the life and culture of the 11 tribes.
"Ang pinakamasaya is the fact that na-amaze ang ating mga visitors, that they can live together," she said.
She added many are also inquiring on what are the mechanisms they place to make the Kadayawan Village a success.
"Even foreigners nagtatanong paano natin ginawa," she said adding that some academicians are also curious about the setting up of the tribal village.
