THE City Government of Zamboanga announced on Friday, August 25, that interested participants to the Song Composition Category of the 2017 Original Chavacano Video Music Festival have until September 1 to submit their forms and entries.
The music festival, which features song composition competition, performance competition and music video competition, is open to all Chavacano music composers and enthusiasts.
Entries to the Song Composition Category must be submitted on or before September 1, at 5 p.m. at the City Hall Information Office.
A valid entry must have the competing music in MP3 format together with its lyrics and a completed entry form.
Meanwhile, deadline for the submission of entries for Music Video Category is on September 20.
Under this category, entries must be in high definition MP4 files, and running time must not exceed six minutes, including opening and closing credits.
All entries will be bannered during the Performance Competition on October 7 at Centro Latino Convention Hall. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
