‘Design your space’ victors awarded

AFTER two months of searching for the best designers in the city, Arezzo Place Davao (APD) finally awarded the winner of the “Design Your Space” contest held at Sales and Marketing Office of APD last May 27, Saturday, along with the top-off ceremony of their Building 1.

The submission of entries for the contest started last March of this year with 14 participants composed of architects and interior designers in the city, who sent their own architectural designs. From 14, the marketing team of APD chose the top six finalists who defended their outputs during the awarding ceremony.

Allan Sylvestre was awarded as the champion with his Middle Century-Age design where he incorporated natural palette, varieties of woods, and warm light -- achieving a traditional house with a cozy ambiance. He received a cash prize and the latest iPad Mini.

APD Associate Project Marketing Officer Krizza L. Balog, in an interview, said the “Design Your Space” contest is the first ever marketing event of APD, highlighting different ways the clients can do to design a 32.5 square meters condominium unit.

Balog said the most notable feature of Arezzo Place Davao (APD) is the space size. Among other competitors in Davao City, APD has the space of 32.5 square meters in an affordable price of P2.1 million compared to the P2.5 million of other developers.

“Even if we increase price, we still remain the most affordable per square meters in the city,” she said.

The designs of the contestants, Balog said, will be used for marketing purposes such as for the social networking sites and magazine or newspaper publications. As for the buyers, they can personally contact the designers for inquiries and arrangements.

Together with the awarding ceremony, APD also held its top-off ceremony of Building I headed by Project-in-Charge Engineer Deogenes Lesiguez along with the buyers and brokers.

“Buildings 1, 2, 3, and 4 are already sold out, while 30 percent for Buildings 5 and 6. All in all, 70 percent of all our existing buildings are sold out,” Rhoda B. Cua, the APD Sales Head, said in an interview.

Cua said the units in Building 3 are expected to be turned over to its owners this June, while August for the Building 4. On the other hand, construction for Buildings 5 and 6 will start at the first quarter of 2018.

Arezzo Place Davao, a property developed by Phinma Properties located at Dona Pilar Avenue, Sasa, Davao City, is an Italian-themed property development eyed to be completed by 2019.
