DLI, Colliers ink partnership for property management

HOMEGROWN developer Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) has entered a partnership with Colliers International Philippines (Colliers) for the property management of Damosa Seawind in Sasa, Davao City.

"We have selected Colliers because it is one of the world leaders in real estate consultancy and services. They will provide property management services for Seawind and possibly other projects," said Ricardo Lagdameo, DLI vice president in an interview with the press during the launch of the Peza Davao Investment and Business Center on Friday, September 22.

Colliers, in a statement, said it will be in-charge of the operations of the residential towers which include management, supervision, improvement, and upkeep of the project’s more than 1,100 units.

“Colliers is pleased to have been appointed as the exclusive property manager of Damosa’s project. We can assure unit owners of the high standard of service that Colliers is globally known for,” said Jet Ilaga, Colliers International’s Executive Director for Real Estate Management Services, in a statement.

Last August 28, DLI inaugurated the first tower of Damosa Seawind and its units are expected to be turned over to the homeowners in October this year. The project's clubhouse and swimming pool were also launched on the same day.

Currently, Tower 2 is being constructed and completion is targeted to be by the end of October or by the first week of November while the excavation for the third tower has commenced.

Tower 2's construction is expected to take about a year and a half to finish. The construction of towers 4, 5, and 6 will also follow.

Lagdameo also said Towers 1 to 4 are all sold out while only a few more units are available for Tower 5. About 50 percent of the units are also already sold for Tower 6.

The entire project is targeted to be finished by 2021.
