DLI to turn over Seawind Tower 1 units in October

THE first tower of Damosa Seawind, the first condominium development of Damosa Land, Inc. (DLI) was launched on Monday, August 28, and units are expected to be finally turned over to the homeowners by October.

Tower One is the first of the six towers of Damosa Seawind located at Km. 11, Sasa.

According to DLI vice president Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo, apart from completing the first tower, they have also completed basic amenities like bathhouses, swimming pool, and the clubhouse which the homeowners from the first tower can enjoy.

He added they are only waiting for the occupancy permit before they can turn over the units to the homeowners, which they expect to be around October.

Lagdameo also said the Tower One was first opened to public buying two years ago and sold out shortly after three to four months.

The first three towers are expected to have around the same number of units, 165, in seven floors. Towers 4, 5, and 6 are expected to be a little higher with nine floors.

By the afternoon, DLI welcomed their homeowners through a meet-and-greet cocktail party tagged as “Celebration of Mindanao” wherein a cultural and fashion show was set to stage the rich Mindanao culture especially the clothes made by Davao-based fashion designers.

Currently, Tower 2 is being constructed and completion is targeted to be by the end of October or by the first week of November. It is now on its 75 percent of completion. Excavation for the third tower has also commenced.

Tower 2's construction is expected to take about a year and a half to finish. The construction of towers 4, 5, and 6 will also follow.

Lagdameo also said Towers 1 to 4 are all sold out while only a few more units are available for Tower 5. About 50 percent of the units are also already sold for Tower 6.

The entire project is targeted to be finished by 2021.

Lagdameo said they look forward that in the coming years, the commercial strip of the land development will also be realized wherein a convenience store, a fastfood restaurant, water refilling station, and a laundry shop may be put up for the homeowners and visitors as well.
