DUBAI-based Cebuano fighter Vaughn Donayre is still in search for that elusive first win in the ONE Championship cage.
Donayre attempts to end his losing slump when he takes on experienced striker Vincent Latoel in one of the undercard bouts of ONE: Quest for Power on Jan. 14 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Since his debut in the ONE Championship cage in 2014, Donayre has lost all four of his fights in the organization.
Donayre lost all three of his fights this year. He dropped a submission defeat to Walid Seghir in the Desert Force 20 show in Dubai. He then bowed to former featherweight champion Honorio Banario in Manila, before suffering a submission defeat to Amir Khan as a last-minute replacement just last month.
Latoel is also looking for his first win of the year. Latoel fought twice this year and lost to former lightweight king Koetsu Boku and Edward Kelly.
Donayre is 8-6, while Latoel is 16-18-2.
Another Filipino fighter is also seeing action in the undercard.
Former Asian Games gold medalist Rene Catalan (1-2) takes on undefeated Indonesian Adrian Matheis (2-0).
