DEVELOPER DoubleDragon Properties Corp. launched on Wednesday, March 14, its second Hotel 101 project in the Philippines.
Hotel 101-Fort is being constructed in Taguig City in Metro Manila and will be completed in 2020.
The first Hotel 101 facility, flagship brand of DoubleDragon subsidiary Hotel of Asia Inc., is fully operational at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
Hotel of Asia is also constructing facilities in Davao City in Mindanao and Boracay Island in the Visayas, with the latter envisioned to be the biggest hotel in the country.
“We envision Hotel 101 to become the largest and most recognized hotel chain in the Philippines, with Hotel 101-Fort standing as one of our premium, flagship properties,” DoubleDragon chairman Edgar “Injap” Sia II said in a statement.
“Its (Hotel 101-Fort) enviable location puts you at the center of business and pleasure,” he added.
Rising at 33 storeys, Hotel 101-Fort is envisioned to offer 606 rooms, a three-level podium with specialty retail shops and dining outlets, and a full amenity floor.
The hotel is a stone’s throw away from shopping and dining district of Bonifacio Global City (BGC).
Hotel of Asia targets to ramp up its portfolio to 5,000 rooms across the country by 2020.
The company offers an investment opportunity that assures investors of 30 percent of the total gross room revenues (excluding taxes).
Hotel 101 will oversee operating expenses, unit repairs, and maintenance of the facilities.
