ANTI-NARCOTICs agents have arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized a kilo of illegal drugs in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 28.
The suspect was identified as Norman Cristobal, 48, an auto mechanic. Cristobal's wife Jovy, believed to be involved with her husband's illegal activity, escaped arrest.
Cristobal was arrested after he sold five grams of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, to an undercover agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Confiscated from Cristobal is a kilo of shabu worth P5 million.
Cristobal will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
