‘Drug suspect’ arrested in Bogo City, Cebu

A 49-YEAR-OLD drug suspect was caught in a drug bust on Wednesday night, May 10, in Barangay Taytayan, Bogo City, Cebu.

The suspect was identified as Roy Paquibot Lofranco, a resident of Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City, who was known by his aliases Rogelio Lofranco and Junry Bacalso.

Lofranco yielded seven packs of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” three marked bills of P100, cash amounting to P500 believed to be his proceeds, a cellphone, his motorcycle and wallet with identification cards.

Barangay Duljo-Fatima was the base of operations of the slain drug lord Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz .

Investigators are looking into Lofranco’s connection with Diaz’s group. (SunStar Cebu)
