The exhibit was part of DTI's initiative to further intensify assistance to MSMEs and achieve the goals of poverty alleviation and job generation at the grassroots level.

The expo ran from July 20 to 23 at the Robinson's Place Roxas.

It was the highlight of the week-long celebration and was conducted in coordination with the Provincial Government of Capiz, Provincial Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council, Capiz Integrated Food Producers Association Inc., Samahang Industriyang Pangkabuhayan at Pag-asa, Capiz Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Roxas Chapter, Philippine Coconut Authority, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Interior and Local Government, Landbank of the Philippines, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office.

"The DTI and its partners are committed in assisting these micro entrepreneurs and involve them in countryside development," said DTI Capiz Provincial Director Ermelinda Pollentes during the opening of the exhibit. (PR)
